he’s known as mr. chocolate to many of us and he’s got his very own chocolate factory!  jacques torres somehow amazes us with his unbelievable, mouth watering chocolate bars and you can find it all in manhattan.  the chocolate bar offers it all–your traditional milk and dark chocolate, but he also offers a variety of specialty bars.  The dangerously dark chocolate, the wicked bar, and the midnight soul bar.  Now doesn’t that sound mmmmmmm good!

denim. denim. denim.

button-ups should be a staple in everyone’s closets; especially denim shirts!  and these days, they’re everywhere.  what i love about them is that you can sport the masculine or feminine styles with your everyday outfits.  how fabulous!  and although this year’s trend was denim on denim, you can style it any way you want; from your favorite cut-off denim shorts to your printed floral dress.

i’ve decided to expand my jewelry collection by adding silver to the mix.  and i’ve been loving every minute because that just means more shopping.  of course, i had to incorporate some new pieces with the old stuff…layering is a must in my book.  i found a collection of unique, indie silver jewelry by Silent Gypsy (based in nyc) that are affordable!!  and who doesn’t love a great bargain…

if there’s one fabric i can live, breathe, and sleep in, it would be cashmere.  it is considered to be one of the finest & softest fabrics  that we can wear on our bodies and there’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll fall in love with the way it feels against your skin too.  you’ll never want to take it off.  julie park’s fall collection is lightweight so you can wear the sweaters year round without overheating yourself.

yes, you’ll need another black top!  especially this dolman sleeve style…the cabrio will allow you to spice up your wardrobe in a variety of ways.  of course, my favorite is when you can wear it off-the-shoulder with a pair of skinny jeans (james jeans twiggy are a necessity) and rock it with a pair of military style boots.

if you feel like the fabric is a bit overwhelming or if you want the body to look clean, cinch the back together (there’s a button closure).  voila, it’s much more versatile than you thought!

not only am i crazy about the color, i’m in aww with the back detailing.  this top reminds me of the tuxedo tee with the shredded back detailing but with more sophistication.  always pay attention to detail.

i don’t know if you’re aware but plaid shirts are the ‘in’ fashion trend this year and it’ll be everywhere this fall.  and rails are the best in town!  lately, designer jeff abrams has been featured in the fashion magazines & photographed on more than a handful of celebrities.  from charlize theron to jessica biel…there’s too many to name them all!  but you can always visit dolce and flip through our press book.

any day now, dolce will be receiving a very large shipment of kendra plaid shirts!  time to stock up…
