Dessert Club, ChikaLicious
The truth be told, I’m not only addicted to shopping but I’m also a sugar fiend. Yes, I love sweets …to die for. It’s one of my specialities when I’m in the city…I visit new sweet joints (mostly recommended by friends or I’ll see it on tv). A couple of friends suggested a tiny, hole in the wall dessert shop called “Dessert Club, ChikaLicious” on 204 E 10th St. They were also rated 4 out of 5 stars on yelp.com (and that’s a great rating in my book). Just like every glass counter you see, everything in there looks d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s! I ordered the red velvet cupcake and a chocolate macaroon. To my surprise–I did not like it at all. Can you believe it? I couldn’t subject myself to finishing the desserts either. I wish I had a better verdict for ChikaLicious…
